Please join the Center’s Director Nicola Trezzi for an informal tour and Q&A through the current exhibitions: “Esther Kläs: Start,” presented in the ground floor gallery, “Jordan Nassar: The Sea Beneath Our Eyes,” presented in the first floor gallery,” and “Noa Zuk & Ohad Fishof: Works,” presented in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery. As the curator of the three exhibitions, Trezzi will guide the visitors through these three presentations and share details about their conception and creation. All three exhibitions are based on new commissions and productions: Esther Kläs created three new bodies of work – a group of ceramic relieves, a set of drawings and a performance for the camera – while being artist in residence at Artport; following his trips to Israel and Palestine, Jordan Nassar collaborated with different artisans, the result of these trips being a single work entitled The Sea Beneath Our Eyes and consisting of more than 100 objects; specially conceived or the Center’s multipurpose gallery, Rakonto Kunby Noa Zuk & Ohad Fishof is the central element within their exhibition, which includes also a series of events and the presentation of videos – conceived as performances for the camera – rarely seen before.
The event will be held in English.
